Playing
Tipoff is free to play. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Fair play
- One account per person. Don't automate guesses or look up answers with tools built to beat the game.
- Suspiciously fast near-perfect scores are hidden from global leaderboards automatically.
- Usernames must not be offensive or impersonate someone. We may rename or remove accounts that break these rules.
Photos and facts
Photos are public domain or Creative Commons licensed and credited on the results screen and the Photo credits page. Their licenses, not these terms, govern reuse of the photos. We check facts against published sources but can make mistakes; tell us and we'll fix them.
No warranty
Tipoff is provided as is. We may change the game, scores or features, or take the site down, at any time. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses from using it.
Not affiliated
Tipoff isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any league, team, player or event shown. Team and event names are used only to describe the photos.
